Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

PokeFutureruns without user accounts, subscriptions, or checkout. We don't ask you to sign up or submit profile information to use the core tools.

When you use a feature, our servers may briefly receive your search terms, product IDs, and similar request inputs so we can return results. We also keep our own cached datasets and market snapshots so the app stays fast, reliable, and able to train and update models.

2. What gets logged automatically

When you visit PokeFuture, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically collect standard request logs: IP address, user agent, request path, referrer, timestamps, and error and latency information. We use this for security, abuse prevention, operations, and aggregate traffic analysis.

3. Third-party services we use

  • AWS Amplify and AWS: hosting, request handling, and stored data.
  • tcgapi.dev and PokémonTCG.io: card catalog and pricing fallbacks.
  • PriceCharting: market pricing and catalog mappings.
  • Google Trends (and stored snapshots): popularity and trend signals.
  • eBay: live listings, sales, and outbound product links.

We serve results from our own snapshots and cached data first. Some requests may still trigger third-party lookups when our data is missing, stale, or incomplete.

4. Cookies, ads, and selling data

PokeFuturedoes not run behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information. We also do not show a cookie consent banner because the site doesn't use the ad-tech or account-tracking stack that would normally require one. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and our privacy-rights page before launching those features.

See our Privacy Rights page for a short no-sale, no-sharing summary.

5. Data retention and security

We use reasonable technical and operational measures to protect the service, including HTTPS and managed cloud infrastructure. Market and trend snapshots, search caches, and similar artifacts may be retained in memory, DynamoDB, or our own storage so the app can serve results reliably and improve models over time.

6. Children's privacy

PokeFuture is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes show up on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

8. eBay links (no affiliate tracking)

Some pages link out to eBay (for example "View on eBay" on the Buying List) so you can browse real listings. These are plain links straight to eBay — PokeFuture is not part of the eBay Partner Network, earns no commission, and attaches no affiliate or tracking parameters to the URL. We don't see your eBay account, your payment details, or what you buy.
